Take a day trip out in the lakes, see the Paynesville canals or visit the 90 mile beach at Ocean Grange. Bulls Cruisers have everything from kayaks to large cruise boats. Gippsland Lakes Charter Service in Paynesville can take you on tours to some stunning places.
Travel by foot or on wheels along the second largest silt jetties in the world - where the Mitchell River has extended itself over millions of years. Home to a large variety of bird life, and favourite fishing spots along its 8km length, stretching out into Lake King. Walking/riding distance from the Park. You can cruise through it and continue through to Bairnsdale.

There is an abundance of fishing spots among the lakes - from the silt jetties into the Mitchell River, there are also the Tambo and Nicholson Rivers nearby. Bairnsdale Fun Park is packed with activities suitable for the whole family - mini-golf, Go-karts, merry-go-round and a bungee trampoline just to name a few!
The ferry travels regularly from Paynesville's town centre. Walk or cycle around the island's perimeter, take the Koala Trail and spot the resident koalas and other wildlife.
An underground wonderland of spectacular ancient limestone formations. Just over an hour's drive inland. A good day trip for a rainy day!

There are a range of cafe's and eateries in Paynesville's town centre - arrive for coffee or lunch by road or by water!
Bairnsdale Golf Course is a par 5 from the Park, as well as others spotted around East Gippsland.
